Hello Lovelies!
If you are reading this I am glad that you stopped by! Most of you guys know me and those who have happened to stumble upon this blog by mere chance of luck, welcome! My name is Alex. I created this blog a while back, hoping to fill my spare time by sharing my daily activities and how I was dealing with my life post-high school, post-cancer, and being a single gal! I soon realized that my daily activity wasn't that interesting and there wasn't a lot I was doing, this made me anxious. It made me realize that I didn't even know where I wanted myself to go, so how could I possible tell you guys about it? So, I decided to stop. I needed to figure out who I was, what I wanted and where I wanted to go.
TWO YEARS LATER, I finally know where I want my life to go...or at least a very blurry idea! For so long I kept comparing myself to everyone and trying to keep up with everyone! (Annnnnd I still do that sometimes.) But I have to do what is best for me and what is going to make me happy. I have always been a creative person, a hands on person. I love the arts. I love to dance, I love theater, I love fashion and I LOVE makeup. I want to be happy in my life and enjoy what I do. With much encouragement from my family and some self encouragement I decided that I wanted to be a makeup artist. Everything about makeup intrigues me. I feel like there are endless possibilities when creating a look and I love that. I love learning about different products, applying makeup, creating looks and most importantly, making people feel beautiful. There's nothing better than seeing someone smile after you have done there makeup and that is something that I would love to do every single day.
So, I re-created this blog so I could share with you guys my journey as I figure out my life! As a Makeup Artist. It is definitely scary, but I am so ready for it! I have never been more excited in my life! I am currently working at Sephora inside JCP and attending April Love Pro Makeup Academy. It is an amazing school! Not only do they teach you all the technique you need to know but, they teach you about the industry as well. They go above and beyond for their students and that is rare to find. Hopefully you guys will be able to watch me grow as an artist and as a person. Don't worry not all my post will be this mushy! Just catching everyone up to speed! So, stay tuned as I will be posting all kinds of fun stuff involving makeup, beauty and everything else that goes on in my crazy life!
